Get Certified in 5 Simple  Steps

I- Complete At Least One FXMED Symposium

  1. FxMed symposium (annual event) attend live or virtually
  2. Review previous symposium material
  3. Show proof of attendance with list of lectures reviewed on completion.

II- Complete 6 (six) shadow-day experiences

(in person or virtual (Telemedicine))

1. Shadow virtually during Telemedicine consultations online (Zoom)

2. Shadow in person ½ to 1 full day at CHM centers in Murrells Inlet or Mt. Pleasant, SC

III – Sub-Internship 3 – weeks

Opportunity to work at either center in SC for a 3-week period window. In office or Telemedicine internship. Must show competency with EHR (Practice Fusion) and other platforms (FullScript, Zoom, etc.)

IV – Pass oral competency exam 1 to 2 -hour examination

Prep material will be provided a week in advance of oral exam. No written exam for this certification. Case studies will be presented, and candidate will have opportunity to discuss History Taking, Physical Exam, list of diagnostics appropriate for case, Differential Diagnosis and Treatment Plan.

V- Receive Certification of completion
